The entire calendar year 2020 seems like an unending aberration. Visibility ahead at the end of Q1 went from years/months, to literally hours/minutes as the pandemic swept over the world causing varying degrees of disturbance and heartbreak in everyday life as we once knew it. This represented huge challenges for business leaders, who found themselves completely devoid of a playbook, improvising wildly in attempts to safeguard the health and safety of coworkers while in many cases the futures of their respective businesses were severely threatened.

Working with Anders during this challenging period has been a lifeline. His levelheaded, insightful advice on all matters strategic, combined with his soft, yet holistic skills regarding management in general, have provided me with an invaluable sounding board in probably the most challenging period of time in my entire career.

It is imperative for me to know that my mentor has real deep work-life experience. Anders has this. I am also positively surprised by how well the online mentoring sessions are working with Anders. First, I taught that these sessions need to be face to face. However, during our online meetings, Anders can pick up various signals. For example, voice tonality, wordings I use, and even my body language.
